Indeed the content of this email stems from the Western propaganda against Islaam and its teachings. The whole misconception in this story is based on the reply given by the Imaam who somehow was made to become in this narrative the ultimate representative of Islaam without him providing any textual evidences for his position. Did anyone bother to verify whether the answer he gave is even correct?! What do you think? Either way, allow me to clarify.

In answer to that, let it be known that the term Holy Jihaad or Holy War has no basis in Islaam. And the first thing that the so called Imaam should have done was make that clarification rather than acknowledging that fallacy. Jihaad means struggle in its various forms and it is not restricted to the battlefield. The correct word for war is ?Harb? and for fighting is ?Kitaal?. So how did the word ?struggle? become holy war? Well, that is what the media teaches and that is what the ignorant accept?
2nd) The questioner claimed that most Imaams and Clerics have declared war and that by killing infidels, they are assured a place in heaven. First, Islaamically, the one who has the authority to declare war is the Muslim leader and not the Imaams or Clerics. That war has strict guidelines and has noble objectives. It is not about spilling blood, it is about making the word of Allaah supreme and it is about safeguarding the only True Religion on earth from being annihilated as it was attempted and is still ongoing up to this present day by the various non-Muslim nations with the Christians and the Crusaders on top of the list. It is a joke how the Christians have the nerve to speak about a Loving God and all that nonsense that all educated Muslims know the truth about, yet they have killed billions of people over the years whether other Christians who are of other denominations or Muslims and of course many others. World Wars 1 and 2 had nothing to do with Islaam and Hitler was a Christian… There is no such thing in Islaam where women, children, animals, elderly people, and worshippers of various religions are killed. Not even a house can be destroyed or a tree be cut off. In the case of necessity, Muslims on the battlefield fight against other battle-men and not others. No other nation on earth has such guidelines. Just look at the Biblical teachings regarding this matter:
“Now therefore KILL every male among the little ones, and KILL every woman (female) that hath known man by lying (having sex) with him. “But keep ALIVE for yourselves all the GIRLS and all the women who are VIRGINS.” NUMBERS 31:17-18 “And the Jews salvaged for themselves 32,000 virgins, verse 35; see also verse 40. (b) But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou (o Jews) shall save alive NOTHING that BREATHES. DEUTERONOMY 20:16 (c) ‘And they (the Jews) UTTERLY DESTROYED all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox and sheep, and ASS, with the edge of the sword ” JOSHUA 6:21 (Even donkeys were not spared) (d) “He (Joshua) let NONE remain alive.” Joshua 10:28
Where do you find the above info in the teachings of Islaam? No where and all praise is due to Allaah. Even Jesus whom we Muslim love and cherish, is quoted in the Bible to have said:

So anyone who wishes to point fingers at Muslims for the actions of some, or the misunderstanding of others, needs to have a better understanding of his/her own religion.

Then supposedly the cleric says ?YES?!! If so, how come you?re alive? How many Muslims did you come across in your life? Why didn?t anyone kill you? Why did that cleric live up to his statements and bring a bomb and kill all the attendees instead of teaching them? Because this is falsehood and any fair person knows that this is not what Islaam teaches. Not in this sense that is. Muslims want to save people so we invite them to Islaam with no compulsion. Indonesia, the biggest Muslim country never saw a Muslim soldier. Christians and Jews in various Muslim countries have lived in peace and no one killed them. Look at the Coptic Christians in Egypt?
Finally I quote, ?Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me??
That above ultimatum is bogus and void as it corners a person between these 2 options as if there is no other!! First Allaah does not tell us to kill you. Allaah tells us to educate you and invite you to His worship as opposed to the worship of His creation which is what Christianity is based upon. Allaah tells us to treat you with Justice. Here is a Quraanic verse for your benefit.
60:8 Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loves those who are just.
Where is the killing here? But yes, if we are to be attacked and killed, then we do not turn the other cheek as Islaam must remain as means of guidance for all those who seek it until the Day of Judgment. It is the only monotheistic religion and the only truth from God that has not been distorted. So opening the door for non-Muslims to eliminate Islaam, which is strived for by all nations, is not an option so the Muslims are allowed to defend themselves and their honor. Jesus was of the same position. But Christians do not know the teachings of Jesus, they know the teachings of Paul, their Popes and preachers and they think that they are followers of Jesus indeed. And indeed this is strange.

So where is the loving God?
